This all starts off with scent training. Training your dog to track and wind very well, even before you start hunting. It's all about setting your dog up so it can follow that wind scent or track on the ground for hundreds, or even thousands of meters before you even take it hunting. So when you do get out there your can hunt very well, right from day one.
Then all of this is done again, shown and explained while hunting real deer out in the field.
Paul and his team head out into the field to show Print winding, tracking, hunting and indicating his first 10 deer in real and challenging hunting situations. Everything is covered. From finding and shooting deer in thick cover, through to long range hunting and finding deer after the shot.
This is a full hunting tutorial specifically showing you how to hunt over a Big Game Indicating Dog or Deer Dog. There is a huge amount of information here and some really amazing moments as Paul hunts deer in thick cover with his dogs hunting, indicating, pointing and tracking.
And added bonus here is some hunting with Paul's older, more experienced dog Fly. Paul has shot over 500 animals in the bush, over Fly. And in part 12 we get to see Fly in action. Here Paul breaks down, demonstrates and explains some key points when hunting over an older, more experienced dog.
This whole segment is a must watch for any Gun Dog enthusiast.
